We wanted to hint at the fact that Adidas Basketball would be giving Donovan Mitchell a pro shoe. We landed on the concept of showing them all as holiday stockings that appear to be on a long mantle. Each of our pro athletes have their name on a stocking and by the time you swipe to Donovan you realize everyone on the list has a pro shoe with the company.

The Project

For the Release of Donovan Mitchell’s first pro shoe, two kids and aspiring writers from his previous middle school got to interview Donovan about himself and what it meant to be given a shoe with Adidas. I was was asked to distill this into content for digital following the release of the shoe, with photo assets captured at the Brooklyn Farm event.
